I ran a few errands today, getting ready for our weekend trip to Malaysia! The trip has completely snuck up on me, I can’t believe it’s almost here. But I guess we’ve had a few friends visit recently, keeping me distracted from this upcoming getaway. We’re going with a few friends, so I’m sorta just running with their itinerary, I haven’t really planned anything. I’m just seeing this as a weekend away with some friends to KL, having a bit of R&R (and good food!) along the way. I really should do some research, since it’ll be my (our) first time in the city. It’d be good to know a bit about the city before we fly in! 😊
Although I do still find it weird that we can go on a one hour flight and be in a totally different country. It’s like flying from Sydney to Canberra, how can we be in a different country after only one hour?! I still find the proximity to SG of all the other Asian countries quite astounding. Coming from a country as large as Oz is, the fact that you can drive or be on a ferry for less than an hour and suddenly be in a totally different country is just amazing.
N got caught up at work, so we didn’t get to dancing today, unfortunately. And we probably won’t go tomorrow, and we’ll miss this weekend too 😔 I must try and do stuff during the day then, even if it’s just stepping through things on the spot, or doing some visualisation, or Rumba walks. Or Jive kicks! 😂 I think a massage is on the itinerary in Malaysia. I’m not a fan of massages as the others are, so I may use that time to do some dancing instead 😊
I’ll definitely post some photos of our weekend trip! 😊
