It’s a public holiday in HK today, but we were both feeling rather lazy for some reason that we ended up just whiling away the day 😳 We eventually had to venture out, though, as hunger eventually took over 😂 But we left the serviced apartment so late that we effectively ended up having linner (or dunch – which do you prefer?? 😆).
I actually wanted to hike up to The Peak, but I didn’t bring my sneakers this trip, so that was ruled out very quickly. We’ll have to do it at some point while we’re living in this city. Apparently there are quite a few good hiking trails in HK, given its hilly-ness, so we may be hiking more than ever before 😆
And then in the evening, we decided to wander around our potential neighbourhood again, picking up some leaflets from property agencies in the area, just in case apartment #1 doesn’t pan out. We picked up TEN different leaflets! 😲 I guess walk-in business must still be the most popular way agents prefer to work here.
I shouldn’t get my hopes up too high for that property, otherwise I may just come crashing down from my very high expectations… 😕 Hopefully these ten leaflets will reassure me that other half-decent apartments do exist out there…!
